Because of Santa Monica Faculty Association's unique relationship with the Faculty Association of California Community Colleges Education Institute, you may be entitled to a tax deduction. Full-time faculty members at Santa Monica are entitled to claim $135 while part-time faculty are eligible to claim $35 as contributions tea 501(c)(3) research and educational institution. For IRS purposes, your FACCC Education Institute dues are analogous to contributions you make to other charitable or religious institutions.

FACCC Education Institute will provide an individualized receipt for any faculty member who requests one for tax purposes. Please consult your tax adviser with any questions.
