On Saturday, October 7, the Faculty Association's Political Action Committee held its first and very successful fundraiser at the lovely Brentwood home of Mr. And Mrs. Levine.  This event raised over $3,000 that will allow the Association to support candidates and propositions that the Assembly votes to support.

Trustee candidates who attended were Robert Klepa, Pat McGuire, Margaret Quinones, and Joe Weichman.  Quinones and Klepa have been endorsed by the Faculty Association.  Fran Pavley, FA-endorsed candidate for State Assembly, also attended.

The afternoon was also a success in that it provided an opportunity for faculty to get together and enjoy themselves.  The music, provided by the Goliard Trio, was great as were the refreshments.  We plan to have an annual political fundraiser, so stay tuned.
