The Editorial Staff of the Hourly Advocate eagerly awaits your comments and suggestions.
With the next issue we hope to inaugurate a "Letters to the Editor" column. Although authors of letters may request anonymity, all letters must be signed, giving department affiliation at SMC and a contact phone number. In addition, we are inviting our readers to submit articles on pertinent topics. You may also submit other people's work for consideration along with their written "permission to reprint." Another column we hope to make a regular is "human interest stories." And, please, do send us your questions. We will attempt to demystify the "ins-and-outs" of academic life for part-timers here on the SMC campus. Queries may range from the most trivial to the most sublime. The Editorial Board reserves the right to edit all submissions including the right to reject any on the grounds of space limitations and/or unsuitability. Route your contributions through campus mail to: Hourly Advocate Editorial Board, SMC Faculty Association.
