What is the "contract"?

The contract spells out the salaries, working conditions, and grievance rights for faculty at SMC. The current collective bargaining agreement (also known as the "contract") is in effect from August 21, 2007, to August 23, 2010. A complete copy of the agreement is posted on this website. Paper copies are available upon request to any faculty who wants one.

II.                 Motion from the Executive Committee:
 
“Pursuant to the vote of the membership in Spring 2008, the Executive Committee recommends that the Assembly allocate $35 per member to the SMCFA-PAC for the academic year 2009-10 for the purpose of supporting the Board candidates endorsed by the Assembly.”
 
III.               Approval of 2009-10 Faculty Association Budget – Mario Martinez
 
            Motion from the Executive Committee:
 
The Executive Committee recommends that the Representative Assembly approve the 2009-10 Faculty Association Budget.
