SANTA MONICA COLLEGE FACULTY ASSOCIATION Business 144 REPRESENTATIVE ASSEMBLY MEETING 11:15 a.m. — 12:35 p.m. March 14, 2002 I. President’s Report II. Motion from Executive Committee - First Reading: ARTICLE IX Nomination and Election, Special Election Procedures Section C: Nominations 1. Ballot Preparation A. The Nominations and Elections Committee shall solicit nominations from the Representative Assembly not later than the second meeting in March April. If only one meeting is held in March April, the solicitation shall take place at that meeting. Section D: Elections 2. Annual Election A. The annual election shall be held no later than the last full week of April May. III. Motion from the Faculty Association Executive Committee: The Faculty Association shall give support to the Academic Senate on an annual, per capita basis as follows: $15 per full-time faculty person, and $5 per part-time faculty person. The total head count of faculty for purposes of this annual per capita support shall be taken from the October payroll deduction register (the first payroll report of the Fall semester) submitted to the Faculty Association by the District. The Faculty Association shall forward its annual per capita support to the Academic Senate by early November. The Academic Senate shall approve an itemized Senate budget during the Fall semester. This agreement shall be reviewed in Fall 2004. IV. Approval of Revised Faculty Association Budget V. For the Good of the Order
