III. 2003-2004 Election Results-Beverly Tholen Election results are as follows: Lantz Simpson-President Ken Mason-Vice President Mitra Moassessi-Treasurer Division representatives will be announced soon. IV. Guest speaker Tom Donner, Assistant Superintendent for Business Services Tom Donner reviewed the plan for proposed change in health benefits. Northern California medical costs are higher than those in Southern California, so it may be possible to go in with a group of colleges in the south and be able to save money on the health plan, duplicate the current benefits for Blue Cross, and continue to provide benefits for retirees. One difference in the plan is that while Blue Cross has no lifetime limit, the Self-Insured Schools of California (SISC) plan under discussion has a $2,000,000 lifetime cap, a disadvantage that could be remedied by "reinsurance". The deductible is lower on the SISC plan. Respectfully submitted, Ann Maddox Recording Secretary
