The Executive Committee recommends modifying the Faculty Association bylaws to include a new committee: The Distance Education Committee. Additionally the Public Affairs Committee is being renamed, and a Governmental Relations Committee is being formed. Language will be presented at the Assembly meeting.

VII. Resolution Supporting Health Care Reform in California

M/S: (Frisch/Burnett) The Executive Committee recommends the Representative Assembly endorse SBA 40 and that individual faculty members be encouraged to sign the petition at www.onecarenow.org in support of the bill.
