What is the "contract"?

The contract spells out the salaries, working conditions, and grievance rights for faculty at SMC. The current collective bargaining agreement (also known as the "contract") is in effect from August 21, 2007, to August 23, 2010. A complete copy of the agreement is posted on this website. Paper copies are available upon request to any faculty who wants one.

VI. Motion from the Executive Committee

Because of the unprecedented nature of Hurricane Katrina and its impact on our fellow citizens, the Executive Committee recommends that the Representative Assembly approve a $10,000 donation to the Hurricane Katrina relief effort.

 

VII. Motion from the Executive Committee

The Executive Committee recommends amending the Reassigned Time approved last spring for Fall '05 to reflect 20% for Sandi Burnett and to increase Dennis Frisch's reassigned time from 80% to 100%.
