I. President's Report – Lantz Simpson

Presidential Candidates Forums – Faculty picketing and leafleting was successful at all three forums. The Board will announce its decision at the December 5 Board Meeting.

 

II. Approval of the Minutes -- Sept 15, 2005 , Sept 29, 2005 , October 27, 2005 , and November 3, 2005 . Minutes were approved as corrected. Passed unanimously.

 

III. Negotiations Update Mitra Moassessi

Mitra re-stated the District's Proposal and answered questions from the Assembly.

 

IV. Approval of Special Advisory Election – Lantz Simpson

 

MOTION : The Representative Assembly recommends holding a special advisory election to determine the will of the faculty to reject or accept the District's contract proposal.

M/S: Ceballos/Padilla Passed Unanimously

 

MOTION : The Representative Assembly endorses a “no” vote on the upcoming special advisory election.

M/S: Geltner/Frisch

 

V. Fundraising Committee Report – Ken Mason & Maria Alvarado

Flyers with pledge envelopes detailing the upcoming 2 nd Annual Holiday Fundraising Party were distributed.
