The Association is an independent association and is not affiliated with any other labor union, although it is a member of the California Community College Independents (CCCI), a network of independent community college faculty associations.

The officers of the Association shall be the President, Vice-President, Chief Negotiator, Secretary, and Treasurer. Authority, responsibilities, and terms of office shall be enumerated in the bylaws. This provision shall not remove from office any person elected under the previous Constitution.
