Group Advancement MOU PDF Print E-mail

The District and the Faculty Association agree to the following memorandum of understanding concerning Group Advancement on the various academic salary schedules:

  1. Any faculty member who may have earned college semester credits prior to employment with the District  that were not applied to their group placement at the time of initial employment, may prior to April 15, 2003, request that the District apply any such units toward group placement on the appropriate salary schedule.  In the event that any such college semester units effect a faculty member's group placement, the new placement will be effective with the Fall 2003 semester.

  1. The District and the Association agree to continue to meet to resolve any concerns regarding the current language in the contract and the current District practice on group placement on the salary schedules.
