An extensive thank you needs to go out to all faculty both part-time and full-time for their participation in a week of awareness on the quality of higher education. las octobers Campus Equity Week consisted of an information table that provided a substantial amount of facts regarding equity issues among faculty and served as a location to sign the petition, while the forum provided an avenue for our guests CPFA/FA president Lantz Simpson, SMC President Piedad Robertson, State Representative Jackie Goldberg, and Cindy Oliver from College Institute Educators' Association of British Columbia to address the issue of equity among all faculty (See Photo). To catch a glimpse of the forum, the Faculty Association has a videotape available. you might be enlightened by dissimilarity between Canadian colleges and our college in the debate on equity.

The partnership between full-time and part-time faculty must continue to augment the quality of higher education. For that reason, all faculty members should become familiar with the multiple roles of full-time and part-time faculty on this campus.

The challenge is set for each faculty member to join the association and to attend at least one faculty association meeting. Finally, if possible, bring another faculty member with you to the meeting.
